Traditional hotel, staff were outstandingly accommodating and the location was excellent close to metro line. Liked the traditional-style building and our big size and impressive room exactly as in the photos. Location: the property was just off subway n great malls, train stations, shops, especially the Ameyoko market and the Ueno park and transport.

The family room was spacious and clean, with comfy tatami mats. We had enough room for all of us and the futons were surprisingly cozy, but they could use a little extra cushioning. The photos matched exactly, so no surprises there! Daily water and room cleaning were nice touches. It's a good taste of minimal furniture too.

This place is a hidden gem! The spacious family room with tatami mats was super comfy for all of us. We loved the strong internet connection and the fact that we could self-check in late without any hassle. Plus, the location is amazing, just a short walk to Akihabara and surrounded by great local restaurants.
The sound of trains might be annoying for light sleepers.

Perfect location near Akihabara and train stations. Sleeping on the futon was uncomfortable for me. Friendly staff helped us with our luggage.

missingWrote a review on 15 Julcramped bathroom
A few quirks could temper your experience, especially if you're used to more room to move. The bathroom felt cramped, with limited space for essentials like toiletries. Noise from nearby trains could disrupt light sleepers-best to pack some earplugs if you enjoy a quiet night. You might need to make two trips if you've got larger suitcases or a stroller in tow.

Our family loved the spacious family room with tatami mats 🙌 The location was perfect, so close to Akihabara and Ueno. The AC turned off at night, a bit frustrating.

A warm welcome near Akihabara
Fantastic location, just steps away from Akihabara and several great restaurants. The cleanliness of the family room was excellent.
We faced challenges with amenities like the lack of a nearby laundry facility and uncomfortable bedding, made our stay less enjoyable.

Great for families seeking a genuine experience
The room was surprisingly spacious for a family of four, we had enough room to lay out our bags comfortably. Plus, the friendly staff helped us send our luggage ahead to the next hotel, it's that kind of service that leaves a mark!
It wasn't exactly a steal, but overall an acceptable price for the experience.

Convenient location and helpful staff
I stayed for 4 nights in a Family Room, and the highlight was definitely the location-just a stone's throw from both Okachimachi and Akihabara stations, with loads of eateries nearby under the train tracks. The staff were really good too assist us, even helping with our inquiries about local tours. The futons could be a bit uncomfortable without additional layers, so don't hesitate to ask for more if needed.
